In our United Benefice, we take the safety and protection of children and vulnerable people seriously, and have policies and procedures in place to ensure this.
Stones & Pebbles
St Stephens’s Sunday School, also known as ‘Stones & Pebbles’, welcomes children from 5–11 years (primary school age). We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month in term time during the 9:30am service, before joining the rest of the congregation for communion or a blessing and the final hymn. There is also a separate group for young people aged 11+ who meet on the 1st Sunday and enjoy exploring our topics in more depth, helping make the transition between Sunday School and attending church services.
Our Sunday School team is a friendly group of parents who take it in turns to lead or support the activities.
