We are excited to be running a Christmas weekend at St Stephen’s and hope you will join us in getting ready for Christmas!
The Christmas Festival aims to bring our community together in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and to help raise much needed funds for the church. It is organised and run by the church with the involvement of the community for the benefit and enjoyment of all.
Friday 6 December
6pm–9pm
Come and view the Christmas trees and vote for your favourite.
7.30pm
Join us for mince pies and mulled wine. There will be a selection of festive music.
Saturday 7 December
10am–4pm
The Christmas trees will be on display and voting will continue.
10am–12noon
Cake sale. (cake donations much appreciated).
2pm–3.30pm
Workshop: Make a Christmas Rag Wreath, led by Clare Leppard.
(If you have any festive fabrics and ribbons spare please bring them to church).
4.30pm–7pm
Film Night: Please see posters in St Stephen’s Church for details. (Film starts at 5pm).
Sunday 8 December
9.30am
Praise Together – the theme is getting ready for Christmas!
11am–2pm
Last chance to see the trees and vote.
2pm–4pm
Messy Church Christmas – a fun and free event for the family. Come along and get ready for Christmas with crafts, story telling and singing.
